Sarcoidosis
Dr DDK Rolston
Q: What is recent management for Sarcoidosis? Whether Uvetitis of Sarcoidosis can be solitary menifestation or part by general Sarcoidosis affecting whole body.
A:There have been relatively few advances in the treatment of sarcoidosis. Steroids still constitute the back bone of treatment although occassionally other immunosuppressive agents such as Methotrexate are used. Uveitis can be the sole manifestation of sarcoid. It can also be a part of a systemic illness.
