Q: What kind of exercise is recommended for a 65 years old lady who is suffering from type II diabetes, hypertension and asthma. Presently she walks for around 45 minutes twice a day. She cannot walk very fast since she develops breathlessness. This walking routine and diet control has failed to keep her sugar level in check.

A:Walking is a very good exercise for a 65 years old diabetic. 45 minutes twice a day is great; but if her sugar level is not controlled, the medication will have to be increased/modified.
