Please advise treatment for my mother's varied stomach problems?

Q: My mother, 56 years old, underwent appendicetomy and cholecystectomy some 20 years back followed by ovarectomy. Since the past year she has been having dyspeptic symptoms and an uneasy feeling in the abdomen. I took her to CMC Vellore and after a UGI scopy and an ultrasound they diagnosed the following: duodoneal diverticulum, post operative adhesions and small calculus in cystic duct. Sometimes she is having pain in her abdomen. Could you please advise a line of treatment? She is taking the following medicines - fybogel, epidosin and prothiaden.
A:1. Duodenal diverticulum usually requires no treatment2. Adhesions can cause pain occasionally and sometimes they may also require urgent surgery. However this does not seem to be the case with your mother 3. Stones in the cystic duct stump can cause pain and they should be removed by further surgery if surgery can be done safely.
