Q: I am 24 years old. I am suffering from piles since 2,3 years. Previously I felt pain and bleeding after defacation. Now it is ok but it is causing itching and swelling. I have a problem of constipation (once in 3,4 days). When my stomach is empty I hear sounds coming from my stomach. Most of time I feel very weak and lazy especially in the morning. For piles I have tried some creams but it didnt work. Is it safe to go surgery for piles, because my father had also piles and he went through surgery and it was did not work My diet is(rice, dal, sambar, curd) afternoon and evening. Please suggest me where can I go for treatment in Cennai and what sort of treatment is needed.

A:For Piles the following options are available Regular Surgery, Sclero therapy, Banding, Cryo therapy, Caser pholocogula, Infrared therapy. Only after determining the degree of piles (I, II, III & IV) can give definitive options. In this diet, high fibre and low spices is aduced.
