Need for circumcision

Q: Doctor, I want to know why my foreskin does not retract back over my glans and even if I try, it is not possible as I can see in other guys. I don't want to go for circumcision. I want to know if I have sex with a girl, will I have any problem during insertion or will a lubriciant help? Is it possible to have sex without circumcision?

A:The condition you are suffering from is called phimosis. It is medically advisable to have an early circumcision as it can be a cause of repeated urinary infections. Phimosis could be the first presentation of cancer of the foreskin if the condition is of short duration.
