Is vaccination necessary if rubella test is negative?

Q: I am planning pregnancy. Is it required that women planning pregnancy should ensure MMR vaccination if the blood test for Rubella is negative?

A:If Rubella IgG is negative, then taking a Rubella vaccine before pregnancy is certainly advocated.
