Q: I am a 27 years old housewife into my fourth week of pregnancy. My cytomegalovirus IgG antibody is 246 and rubella IgG antibody is 38.10. Is this risky for the growing baby?

A:Get tested again - also include the IgM levels if possible- IgM is more accurate in detecting recent infection and have a tranvaginal scan by about 12 and 16 weeks. If the titres are not increasing and baby is normal - no need to worry. If there are abnormalities, they would need to be checked out.
