Is regular sex safe after tubectomy?

Q: My wife has had 3 caesareans. She underwent family planning (Tubectomy) by Pomeroys technique three years back. We are having daily sex after the family planning operation. She had 4 major operations. Is regular sex harmful for her? Will there be any complications in future for my wife? She is 30 years old and I am 36.

A:As long as she is not experiencing any discomfort, frequent sex should not cause any problems. If she does start having pain during intercourse, a visit to a gynaecologist will be in order.
