Is it safe to massage the child's body with brandy?

Q: My newborn daughter is just 23 days old. I massage her daily with foreign brandy after giving her a bath, with hope of making her fair. But I am very worried about its effect. Is it safe to apply foreign brandy on a newborn child. Will it have any harmful side effects? Will it be effective in making her complexion fair?

A:Don't apply brandy for massage it is not required and does not make the baby fair. Alcohol usually evaporates fast from the skin, but sometimes in newborn babies if it gets absorbed may cause problems.
