Q: My son is 4 years old and was diagnosed with primary complex sometime this year. His paediatrician advised us that he should undergo treatment but my wife was hesitant to have my son take the treatment due to side effects. Will my son have tuberculosis if we continue not to let it get treated?

A:Primary Complex is primary tuberculosis seen in children. It should be treated without any delay. Untreated tuberculosis may lead to complications which can be life threatening!
