Q: My 71 years old father-in-law brushes his teeth after every meal but does not brush in the morning. As per him, if he brushes his teeth at night then there is no need to brush in the morning. Is he right?

A:It is essential to brush teeth in the morning because in-spite of cleaning the teeth in the night, the plaque formation starts forming immediately after brushing the teeth within one hour so it is important to clear that plaque, clean the tongue, massage the gums, floss in between the teeth and salivary stimulation. It also brings freshness for the day.
