Q: Is it a good practice to go for a small walk after dinner? If yes, after how many minutes is good? If no, what are the adverse effects?

A:After meals the body is busy taking care of the food that has just been ingested so the blood flow is concentrated towards the digestive process. This prevents the muscles in the legs (which are used in walking) from getting the required blood flow and sometimes this can give us cramps. You may like to have an easy stroll, but walking for exercise is not recommended for at least 1 and a half hours after a meal.
