Is Hodgkins disease stage IV fully curable?

Q: I am 22 years old suffering from Hodgkins lymphoma nodular sclerosis stage IV. I underwent six cycles of chemotherapy. After three cycles of treatment, I got a PET scan done and the report was good. There is complete response to chemotherapy. Is Hodgkins disease stage IV fully curable? Will I be able to lead a normal life and marry after the complete treatment? Are there chances of recurrence? What precautions do I need to take in future?

A:Hodgkins disease stage IV is a potentially curable cancer. This requires follow up for five years. If there is no relapse, then one can marry. You can very well lead a normal life and plan your future like a normal person. There is no special precaution other than going for regular checks and leading a healthy lifestyle.
