Q: I am 30 years old, married and underwent an operation for bilateral varicocoele (ligation). My problem is that if I hold my testicles with my hands or jump, some sort of pain is there. I am always wearing a scrotal support and my swollen veins have now disappeared. Some days I have pain on my left testicle (mostly the day after having sex) and also noticed that after operation my left testicle has become smaller than the right one. I want to know why the pain is still there?
A:There seems to be nothing to worry. At time post surgery testicular pain may persists for a long time. Even the size of the testis may reduce. Better to get yourself examined by a urologist and get the issues sorted out.
