A:Adalimumab is one of the options in the treatment of plaque psoriasis in adults when certain criteria are met i.e. when the disease is severe, when the disease has not responded to gold standard systemic therapies including cyclosporin, methotrexate and PUVA or the patient cannot tolerate these therapies. Common adverse events associated with the use of adalimumab include infections, dizziness, headache, diarrhoea, abdominal pain, stomatitis, mouth ulcers, nausea, increase in the liver enzymes, fatigue and muscle or bone pain.
