If MMR vaccine has been given, is the measles vaccine still required?

Q: My 30 months old child was diagnosed as having Diamond Blackfan Anaemia [DBA] since birth. He was red cell transfused for 6 months, on predone forte steroids for 18 months, before tapering down steroids. Currently is in remission for last 6 months. Her Hb hangs around 8.8-9.2g/dL. Weight/height and activity level is fine but is a fussy eater. His immunization was delayed due to steroid intake and all except measles vaccine has been administered for his age. Even if MMR has been given, is measles vaccine still required now?
A:No. There is no need to give the Measles vaccination again as the administered MMR vaccine already had Measles antigen in addition to Mumps and Rubella. Please give the booster as per the instructions from your pediatrician.
