If a child has hydrops, will he survive?

A:It is very difficult to predict whether a baby will survive or not but the earlier the hydrops is present the less likely the baby is to survive. Hydrops is a manifestation of extra fluid in the body either as a result of anaemia, heart disease or viral or other infection in the baby.
