Q: What is the solution for gas/colic in infants? I have a 40 days old daughter suffering from this problem.
A:Infantile colic is a very common condition and it is not a disease. It usually resolves on its own by 6 months of age. Till then you should properly burp your child for at least 10 min after every feed, take for some time in fresh air, and if still persists you can see your pediatrician who will advise your child some antiflatulent / antispasmodic.
