Q: Is there any safe treatment for urge incontinence in an 8 year old child? She is totally dry at night.

A:I presume that there are no other daytime symptoms. Most children with urge incontinence do not have an organic cause for this symptom. Most, also, grow out of it. Bladder training and eliminating stressful triggering influences in the environment help. If the symptoms are causing much distress, then medium-term use of bladder relaxants may help.
