How to manage hearing problems in a child?

Q: My son aged 5 years has hearing problems & speaking problems. Can you advise me any medicine to boost his hearing? His hearing capacity is 90% slow according to the Audiometry test done by the Ali Yawar Institute Mumbai. Please advise.

A:If he has a hearing handicap, and hearing loss is profound, try the best hearing aid. If despite them, the hearing loss is so great, consider getting him a cochlear implant, which may cost around 5-6 lakhs.
