Q: My husband had quadruple by-pass surgery two months back and is feeling remarkably well. He is in a rehabilitation program, and has done very well in his stress test. My question to you is how soon can he travel by air after his surgery? His general practitioner has said it is OK but people have told us it is very risky.

A:It is more then six-eight weeks and hence he can safely travel by air. After 6-8 weeks any one can travel by air safely.
