How long should one wait to conceive after appendicitis surgery?

Q: I had my appendicitis surgery a month ago. Is it OK to start trying to conceive or should we wait a bit long? How long should we wait before trying to have a baby?

A:When it is not painful you can have intercourse. The scar will have matured by the time it is put under pressure by the later stages of pregnancy.
