Q: I am 24 years old and have an allergy problem from the last one-year specifically to dust and change in weather. My nose starts running. I take Celin, Vitamin C 500 mg. After 3-4 days it will be normal and again after some time the same problem recurs. This is a routine. I suffer 10-13 days in a month. Please suggest what should I do?
A:Regular use of a nasal steroid spray, such as beclomethasone or fluticasone, is a safe and effective way of managing rhinitis, whether allergic or not. Antihistamines, too, are useful for as ‘required’ or ‘rescue’ medication.
