Q: I am a 36 years old man and get yeast infection in my groins frequently because of the humid and dry climate in my city. I have to take medicines every 6 months. Sometimes my penis also gets infected because of groin infection. Please advise.

A:Intertrigo of the crural region can occur repeatedly. It could be bacterial, fungal or seborrheic. Moisture, heat and friction are the usual predisposing factors. Therefore, after successful treatment, keep the area dry and aerated so as to avoid recurrence.
