Q: I am a 36 years old man suffering from sneezing and itching in the nose, ear and eye since the last 15 years. I have taken many types of medicines. Currently I am taking cetrizine as and when the situation becomes worse. But this only gives me temporary relief. The nose blockage also happens. Please advise.

A:You are suffering from allergy. You need to take anti-allergic medicines when ever you feel sneezing, etc. The drugs are safe and can be taken life long, like blood pressure or diabetes medicines. If you want cure, immunotherapy by injections after identifying the allergen will be needed. It requires weekly injections for three to four years. Injections are minimally painful.
