Q: My son is 2 years 3 months old, going to daycare. He still wakes up at nights for 2-3 times and crave for breastfeed. How should I stop this?

A:In order to stop breast-feeding at night it is essential that you should not be around. As long as the child sees you, he will scream incessantly and demand breast-feeding. I would recommend that you leave the baby in the care of the grandmother or the father or some other responsible family member for 5-6 nights. When you return to spend the night with the child please do not restart breast-feeding. The child will not demand it.
