Q: My wife delivered twins through c-section a month back and had a tubectomy done during the c-section itself. For how many months should we abstain from sex and do we have to take any birth control measure?

A:If she has had the tubal ligation (sterilisation procedure) you do not need to use any form of contraception. The sexual activity can be resumed when ever she feels upto it (generally about 6 weeks after child birth).
