Does indulgence in sex affect one's concentration?

Q: In earlier times, a student was advised to stay away from sex in order to have a better concentration. However, now young boys tend to indulge in sexual thoughts and masturbation etc. to the extent of affecting their studies. Modern psychologists do not agree that there is any correlation between sexual interest and reduction in the capability to study. What is the effect of sexual indulgence on the concentration and ability of a person to study?

A:An excess of anything is bad. But in current times we cannot expect our people to be completely ignorant or unconnected with sex. While learning about sex from proper books, teachers, or parents they should channelise their energy in the correct channels and not allow natural curiosity to deviate them from their path of education and career.
