Does Fertomid help in ovulation?

Q: Since Fertomid-50 helps in regularising period, can it be used to make an irregularly ovulating woman ovulate regularly? From which day of the periods should Fertomid tablets be started? How will I know, after taking the tablets, whether I have regular period process or am pregnant (if I've had intercourse during this cycle)? If I have not conceived, how long will it take before I have regular periods? Or if I conceive, when do I need to go for a check-up?

A:Fertomid is started from the fifth or third day and you will know if you miss the period. You don't have to bother about calculations. Just get an ultrasound done after a month to check fetal size and calculate the date of delivery.
