Do oral drops expire on opening?

Q: I had bought Virlix 10 mg/ml oral drops for my 1 year old daughter about 2 years ago. Can I still use the same medicine for my other daughter? The medicine expires in July 2009.

A:No. Once opened the printed expiry date becomes invalid.
