Q: Do all toothpastes contain artificial sweeteners? Are they good for oral hygiene?. Is it better to use stevia based tooth paste or gel for brushing teeths? I have heard it is good for mouthwash?

A:Most toothpastes have artificial sweetners to make it pleasant tasting. It does not affect oral hygiene. Some of the gel based toothpastes have silica and could be slightly more abrasive.
