Q: Is it normal if a person records differant readings of Blood Pressure on right and left arms? If so, how much difference is within the normal limits?

A:A difference of upto 10 mms Hg is often seen in the BP recorded in 2 arms. The BP on the right side is usually higher. It is a normal variant with a scientific explanation. Unless BP is recorded simultaneously in 2 arms the difference may be because of the pressure difference at 2 different times which is also normal.
