Cylinder power - Laser surgery

Q: I have 1.75 negative (cylinder) in both eyes. Is it advisable right now to go for laser surgery to avoid wearing of specs? Is it very costly? I am a resident of Bangalore and would like to know in which hospital I can avail this facility. I am using the computer for at least one hour. I watch TV for nearly 2 hours. Kindly advise.

A:Getting a laser surgery for removal of glasses is a cosmetic surgery. We do not have a list of hospitals in your town performing laser surgery. Your strain may not be related to your glasses power. Kindly use tear substitutes when working in front of computers. Kindly get your eyes checked by an eye specialist.
