Q: I am a 28 years old male. I have a severe nasal polyps problem, from the last 4 years. I had undergone a surgery for this problem 4 years back. Last year, the problem recurred. I have read about some corticosteroid medicines like sprays and pills. Please suggest me some medicine through which my polyps can shrink, without any surgery. I don't want to undergo another surgery.

A:Nasal polyps cannot be completely cured by surgery. They can be removed but the cause has to be controlled. The cause is nasal allergy. Nasal allergy is controlled by medications taken orally and through the nose. Both the options are good cure and control nasal polyps. Please consult your doctor again and ask for medication.
