Can Imovax be given along with pulse polio drops?

Q: My 2 months old son has been receiving pulse polio drops as per the schedule. In addition to the same, my doctor has advised Imovax injection. Kindly let me know if both should be taken.

A:Yes. Injectable Polio vaccine i.e. Imovax the currently available injectable polio, is a better vaccine and is more effective. If finance is not an issue, it is preferable to give injectable polio vaccine.
