Can I use 4-aminopyridine for multiple sclerosis?

Q: I have been suggested a tablet containing 4-aminopyridine by one of the doctors for multiple sclerosis. Is there any oral tablet that contains 4-aminopyridine? Please advise.

A:4-aminopyridine is not cleared for use as a medicine in India, or, for that matter elsewhere. It is a bird poison.
