Can I lead a normal sexual life with PID?

Q: I am 28 years old woman suffering from pelvic inflammatory disease (PID) with swelling in the uterus. Can I have sex with my husband?

A:This may give you pain in case of active phase of disease. However, if you are under treatment, then penetration with condom is fine provided you are not in discomfort.
