Can I get AIDS after having sexual relation with two guys?

Q: I am a 21 years old girl thinking of getting married. I had sexual relationships with two guys, and one of them is married.. I am afraid that I may have got AIDS from any of these two guys. Will my husband get AIDS from me if I have intercourse with him?

A:Any unprotected sex with a casual partner is risky and puts the person at risk of HIV and other sexually transmitted infections (STIs). However, if you are not infected at present then there is no risk in getting married. If you are worried about HIV infection (or AIDS) to be absolutely sure you can get yourself tested at a government testing and counseling centre without disclosing your true name and address. Sexual relationships between two people who are faithful to each other does not carry a risk of any HIV or sexually transmitted infection (STI) -- but both partners have to be faithful to each other.
