Can fertility be regained after cure of non hodgkin's lymphoma?

Q: My partner has been cured from non hodgkins lymphoma for five years. Can he get back his fertility? Before getting into chemotherapy, the doctor suggested sperm banking, which he did. He is 28 years old now.

A:Infertility caused by chemotherapy is a well known side effect. People can regain the fertility at times that could only be sure by getting semen test done for sperm count and quality of sperms. If azoospermia or hypospermia is persistent then the banked sperms can be utilised.
