Q: Can a woman with a small uterus and related hormonal imbalance get pregnant? Do irregular menstrual periods affect the chances of becoming pregnant?
A:If the size is about 25% smaller than normal size, then, with proper treatment, pregnancy is possible. If the size is smaller than that, than the pregnancy possibility is low; and if it does occur, a miscarriage is very likely. It is better that she undergoes hormonal and genetic evaluation, and treatment.
