Are there any tests to detect HIV subtype O and subtype N?

Q: I want to know whether there are any tests to detect HIV subtype O and subtype N in India or in any other part of the world?

A:Yes, sub-type detection and identification can easily be done in India. The National AIDS Research Institute (NARI) in Pune is one institution that routinely does this type of work.
