Q: I have developed cold sores around my lips. Are there any creams or medicines for it?

A:If you want your cold sores to go faster, creams will not help. You have to take tablets of Aciclovir. The usual dosage is 200 mg five times a day for seven days. One has to drink plenty of water while taking this medication. Please use only under medical supervision.
