Are there any devices to help people who stammer?

Q: I want to know if there is any device for people who stammer as I just came to know from one of Oprah Winfreys show. Please do let me know.

A:The devices which claim to help persons who stammer do seem to work in some cases while others have reported no gain from their use. In any case, the chances of any such device producing good results are increased if the person is being counseled under the guidance of a good speech therapist.
