Q: I am a 28 years old man having pearly penile papules. The doctor told me that it’s normal. I came to know about a treatment called CO2 laser ambulation. Is this a safe treatment? I am worried that this will effect my relation with my partner in future and I want to remove this. Please advise.
A:Pearly penile papules are a normal variation seen in some individuals. It does not in anyway adversely affect any function of the body, nor does it predispose you to any disease. If you want it removed for your psychological well being then go ahead and get it removed. This can be done by a number of methods; of which laser is one.
