Q: Are babies born through IVF treatment healthy and normal? Is it possible to have only one child through this treatment?

A:There is a small incidence of congenital anomaly in a normal pregnant population, which holds true even for IVF. Thus there is no apparent increase in incidence of congenital anomaly with IVF. Yes, it is possible to have one baby if we transfer only one embryo. But you also have to keep in mind regarding optimal success rate.
