Are all measles vaccines safe?

Q: I have a 10 years old son and my query is regarding the vaccination of my son. Please suggest the safest measles vaccines given to a child and also name of the vaccine manufacturer. How this vaccine is given to the child? Is there any precaution that needs to be taken while giving this vaccine? I have read reports on Internet regarding adverse reactions of measles vaccines leading to death in few cases.
A:All the commercially available brands of measles vaccine are broadly equally safe and effective (there are no head to head comparison trials for comparing the relative merits and demerits of one over the other). If the vaccine has been manufactured, stored and administered properly, then it should not be associated with any serious adverse effect as mentioned by you.
