Are 3 x-rays safe within an year?

Q: When I joined my first job, I had an x-ray for the job acceptance purpose. Soon, I joined my second job and underwent another x-ray. Now, due to unforeseen reasons, I have to accept a third job and I have great concern about the adverse effects of x-ray if I have to take it the third time in a years time? Is it safe?
