Maintain a healthy diet with lots of protein and vitamins for healthy hair.
Amidst meeting deadlines, catching a bus, eating junk, running to meet friends and much more, it gets really difficult to take care of one's hair. Gone are the 'good-hair-days' of mothers and grandmothers. Shiny, voluminous and healthy hair has become almost a dream. In a human body, skin and hair are most exposed to pollution and heat. With such exposure, hair particularly gets weak, damaged and dull. Are you facing hair fall? What do you do to get healthy hair?

Take a look at following five ways, how you can get shiny and thick hair:

1. Deep Conditioning With Yogurt

High on protein content, yogurt can help you get back the missing quality and strength of hair. Take plain yogurt (quantity depending upon the length of your hair) and spread it all over your hair. Keep it for approximately 20 to 30 minutes. Once, the yogurt gets hardened, wash it properly with a good shampoo and then use conditioner.

2. Treatments With Eggs

Eggs are highly recommended for hair treatments, especially conditioning. They provide that exact amount of moisture and shine, you have been looking for. Wet your hair, beat two eggs in a bowl, pour the well whisked egg yolk on your hair, reach till the tops with a wide toothed comb, keep it for 15 minutes, and then wash it with a good shampoo. Rinse well to get maximum shine.

3. Usage of Aloevera And Honey

Aloevera is considered to be a very good rebuilding agent and also a conditioner. On the other hand, honey is excellent for giving shine to your hair. Take a bowl, mix equal amounts of Aloevera, honey and a good conditioner. Apply it on your hair, end-to-end and leave it for dry for approximately 5 to 10 minutes, wash it with a good shampoo later. Avoid buying Aloevera gels or similar products have alcohol as an ingredient. Preferably, go for Aloevera with no mix or the plant, which are easily available in the market. Also, honey is not recommended for people who have dark hair. You can also mix Jojoba oil, in case Aloevera is not available.

4. Coconut Oil Massage Treatment

Coconut is considered to be the healthiest fruit. Its oil provides that much needed nourishment to dull hair. Take coconut oil as per the thickness, and length of the hair. Start applying from hair end and reach till up. Scalp already has lot of natural oils, so, you are not required to rub it too much. People who have oily hair can avoid rubbing the oil near the hairline. Dry hair needs more of coconut oil near the scalp and hairline. Massage your hair gently for some time, and wash it with lukewarm water. Wrap your hair, keep it like that for around 30 minutes. Now, wash it with good shampoo and then conditioner. Let your hair dry naturally, and do not rub it while it is wet.

It helps in moisturizing the hair and giving adequate shine. Take cup of honey and mix it with cup of water. Apply the mixture on wet hair. Keep it for around 15 minutes. Wash your hair with a good shampoo and rinse well with normal water.

Apart from the above tips, aspire to maintain a healthy diet that has a lot of protein and drink lots of water.
