Q. What is Becozyme indicated for? Does it contain any steroids? What are its side effects? Does Becozyme have another name and is it licensed in the UK?

A.  Becozyme is the brand name of a multi-ingredient product that contains B complex factors and vitamin C. It is indicated in patients who are deficient in these vitamins. Most of such vitamin supplements with different ingredients are general products for sale on Over-The-Counter (OTC) basis and are not prescription medicines. Hence they do not require a doctor's prescription. Such OTC products do not under go clinical trials for safety and efficacy.
