Dr Singh is currently the Chief of Urology at Campbellton Regional Hospital and St. Joseph Health Center in New Brunswick, Canada.
He completed his medical graduation (MBBS) in 1991 and Master of Surgery (MS) in 1995 from Institute of Medical Sciences, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Varanasi, India.
He then moved to Mumbai and did his Urology residency training (Diplomate of National Board) from P.D.Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai, India and later on also worked in Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, India as senior registrar.
In early 2001, he went to Canada and successfully completed ASTS (American Society of Transplant Surgeons) accredited renal transplant fellowship from Dalhousie University, Halifax, Canada. In 2004, he did further sub-specialisation in male infertility from University of Toronto, Canada.
Apart from General Urology, Dr Singh has special interest in male infertility including vasectomy reversal surgery and renal transplantation. He has received many awards and presented papers in various international meetings and journals.

- Distinction in Anatomy in 1st Professional Year of MBBS in 1988.
- Distinction in Chemistry and Botany in Bachelor of Science (BSc) in 1984.
